Meet your Instructor
Arika • Owner/Baker/Artist, 4 Years
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Arika Cooknell
FOUNDER | COOKIE ARTIST
Arika has always enjoyed gathering her friends and family around a table for a good meal. She loves making those around her feel celebrated and loved.
After 3 years of creating cookie art, the Food Network reached out and asked her to compete on the Christmas Cookie Challenge Season 7, Episode 6 “On the Road”. This opportunity just confirmed her passion for her art and business!

Without JD, Tree City Cookie wouldn’t have a name! JD is an amazing asset to the team because he’s always willing to do most anything he’s asked, including taking thousands of photos whenever asked.
